100% of Lincoln's City Council Members Voice Their Support of LES's Sustainable Energy Program

Today, City Council voted to decrease LES's proposed 2.9% rate increase to 2.4%, and asked that the LES Board make sure that they keep their budgeted amount for 2010's Sustainable Energy Program intact.

Seeing as LES budgeted to double the amount set aside in 2009, this webmaster sees it as a sweeping victory for both individuals and businesses alike. Please take a moment to read this blog entry. (I hope it encourages you to use your pen/laptop.)
